Chevrolet is stepping into the future of mobility with the 2025 Chevrolet Captiva EV and PHEV lineup in the Middle East, now offering three dynamic powertrain choices: petrol, all-electric (EV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV). The new electrified models bring cutting-edge mobility to one of Chevrolet’s most trusted SUV nameplates in the UAE, giving drivers more options than ever to match their lifestyle and driving needs.
Performance
The Chevrolet Captiva’s history reflects its transformation into a versatile and stylish SUV. The original Captiva features a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 149 horsepower. However, the Captiva EV is powered by a 60-kW lithium battery delivering 201 horsepower and an estimated range of up to 415 km. Charging options include Level 1 (2.1 kW), Level 2 (6.6 kW) and DC fast charging, which can reach 80% charge in 45 minutes or add 75 km of range in just 10 minutes.
The Captiva PHEV combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a 20.5-kW battery for 201 horsepower and an estimated range of up to 1000 km. It supports Level 1 (2.1 kW), Level 2 (3.3 kW) and DC fast charging up to 24 kW.
Exterior

The Captiva EV and PHEV feature a longer and wider design compared to previous models. The EV offers an optional two-tone roof. Both models are available in LT and Premier car trims and offered in the following colours:

- Khaki Green
- Red Metallic
Interior

The Captiva EV and PHEV seat 5 passengers and feature premium black or beige leatherette car upholstery, a wood-finished dashboard and up to 532 litres of cargo capacity. LT trims include a 10.1-inch infotainment display with an 8.8-inch driver information cluster. Premier trims comes with a 15.6-inch infotainment display, panoramic sunroof, power tailgate and additional driver-assist features.
Safety Features
Premier trims in the EV and PHEV include full suite of enhanced driver-assistance and safety features such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, lane departure warning, lane departure assist and intelligent driving assist. Additionally, all EV and PHEV models feature 4 airbags, electric folding side mirrors, cruise control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Ownership

All Captiva models are tested for the region’s driving conditions and climate. Chevrolet Complete Care provides a 3-year or 100,000-kilometre vehicle warranty, whichever comes first. For the EV and PHEV models, the battery is covered by a separate warranty for 8 years or 160,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.
