Starting 30th August 2024, RTA will introduce four new metro link bus routes. Besides Dubai Metro link routes, the authority is also planning to enhance several existing bus routes. These changes aim to improve the commuting experience for all Dubai public transport users.

RTA Launches 4 New Routes for Metro Link Buses in Dubai with Additional Route Adjustments

Whether it is Dubai Metro or Dubai Tram, all such public transport services in the emirate offer a seamless experience. RTA has further facilitated commuters by splitting and adjusting the following routes.
Route 21 Split
- 21A: From Al Quoz Clinical Pathology Services to Al Ghubaiba Bus Station.
- 21B: From Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Al Quoz Clinical Pathology Services.
Route Mergers
- 61D merged with 66.
- 95 merged with 95A, with adjustments to cover the Jebel Ali Industrial Area.
Route Shortening and Path Changes
- Route 6: Shortened to run between Oud Metha Metro Station and Dubai Healthcare City.
- Route 95A: Adjusted to start from Veneto, Jebel Ali Waterfront to Parco Hypermarket.
- Route 99: Modified to cover JAFZA One.
- Route F31: Adjusted to include new stops in The Greens.
- Route F45: New stops added in Al Furjan.
- Route F54: JAFZA One stop removed.
- Intercity Route E700: Starts from Etisalat Bus Station instead of Union Bus Station to Fujairah. The Dubai to Fujairah Bus service facilitates a large number of travelers on a regular basis.
